We have been working together on drafting starcharts to determine our location, but beyond that, I have not received individual instruction.

[ mostly because someone hasn't responded to his initial 'hi commander you're actually here' greeting yet and this is all going off of speculation. :c ]

There are more than enough stars to go around .. two people alone can't hope to map the entire universe. We could have our own chart, just the two of us.
